CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

BELLY DANCE LEVEL I
This class is designed to teach new students the basic techniques of belly dance movement. Classes include warm up exercises, posture, basic hand and arm movement, footwork, shimmies, and more.

Prerequisite: No dance experience necessary

BELLY DANCE LEVEL II
This class builds on the basic techniques from Level I.  Classes include warm up exercises, posture, basic hand and arm movement, footwork, shimmies, and more.

Prerequisite: Level I or previous dance experience

BELLY DANCE LEVEL III
Building on the basic techniques from Level I & II, each class will introduce students to new movements, arm positioning, undulations, traveling steps, and combinations.

Prerequisite: Level II or previous dance experience

MIXED LEVEL
This is a multi-level class.  Each class will focus on a specific technique along with some combination steps. 

Prerequisite: Level I 


TECHNIQUE
This is a multi-level class. Each class will focus on a specific technique and will be posted ahead of time in the schedule.

Prerequisite: Level I (Reach out to Eiko if you have questions)


FLUID MOTION BELLY DANCE
Best way to describe this class is beautiful and fun. Feel like a dancer and flow through space. Movements are inspired from Belly Dance and other dance styles. This is not a technique class. Follow along and have fun!

Prerequisite: No dance experience necessary. All fitness levels welcome.


PERFORMANCE CLASS: LEVEL I
Are you interested in performing or love to learn choreographies? Learn a fun choreography and perform it on the last day of class. Audience will be your friends and family.

Prerequisite: Any beginner Belly Dance class with any instructor.
